Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Edge flakey Network Connection & no MMS
Need some help with this flaky issue. My Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (4.4.4 KitKat with latest updates) has a very flaky network connection, affecting access to MMS messages. Cannot send/receive an MMS without the network connection and it comes and goes at will. I have 5 bars showing on my phone and excellent signal strength.
I know stacks of others have the same issue with various network providers, so it appears to be the phone or the software (fully up to date).
I've tried all the fixes, and basically network connection will work, only if and when it feels like it. The best way to try and kick a Network connection in is to enable then disable Wifi, but even this doesn't always work, nor does a reboot. Some have said it's not possible to do MMS while on Wifi with the Samsung, however my OLD Samsung banger phone achieved this quite well with the same carrier.
I cannot turn Wifi on and be connected to the network at the same time, and testing has showed power saving mode is irrelevant in these settings.
I've removed the battery and SIM as per detailed instructions elsewhere.
Any other suggestions apart from buying a new phone with a different OS?
Thanks in advance for your help.
