My Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 is shutting down after every 2 seconds!

Hi, I own a Galaxy Note N7000 for the pat two years. Since the last four hours, my phone switches on for 2 seconds, and then switches off on its own. Then it gets on again for 2 seconds. This cycle has been repeating continuously. Even when i dont touch my fone. I tried re-inserting the battery and even charging it. what is the issue?? Please help!! My images, data, important files are at stake !! PLEASE!

More than likely either your hardware is toast or your power button is stuck. Try jiggling the power button to see if that helps.

It could be a software problem (like a bootloop - a problem with the booting process in the software) but that shouldn't happen unless you've been messing with rooting/ROMing, etc.

Thank you :)
The power button is fine. And I haven't rooted my phone ever!
my battery is getting charged, so i doubt that it's a battery issue.
So i guess it has to be a hardware problem. :-( Can the hardware issue be corrected at a service centre?
