My Samsung Galaxy S3 fell out of my hand and screen eventually went black.

My phone dropped and immediately the upper left of the screen was scrambled. Shortly thereafter, the screen went black. The phone still operates, however the screen stays black. the two soft keys on the bottom light up, however, the remainder of the screen is black. Have taken battery out and restarted the phone. It can be used with Voice Control, however the touch screen is completely disabled. Any suggestions? There are no visible cracks on the screen. It is as though something came unplugged on the interior.

Welcome to Android Central! Something like that is either due to a loose connection or a damaged screen. If you want to check yourself, you could search YouTube for a video on how to open up your S3 to check the connections, but be aware that you could end up doing more damage that way if you're not careful. You may just want to bring it to a repair shop.
