my Samsung Galaxy s4 device status "Custom"

So today i remember holding down power+vol key down and got install custom rom, me being a noob i press vol key up for Yes, not knowing that it will give me custom Device status, i never Rooted my phone nor unlocked it, just was curious what it will do... well now i cant update my phone because i get and error Update, it gives me Your device has been modified. Software updates are not available?? any way to revert back to normal?

You put a new ROM on? Your phone had to be rooted for that..

no i didnt i exited the place by restarting my phone, that why im so confused i never rooted all i did was do that and im guessing it changed my status to Custom now i dont know how to fix this problem =(

So your phone was in download mode, and you hit volume up and then turned it off? That shouldn't give you a modified status.
The only way to reset it would be to flash the stock firmware on to the phone
