Re: samsung galaxy s5 water sensor is black

Welcome to Android Central! Pretty much all water damage stickers will turn a solid color when exposed to water. The most common colors are pink and blue. If it's solid black, I would guess that means exposure. Is the phone working ok?

I sent u a picture in ur pms that sticker on mine is white on mine. I think maybe water got in when I opened it to check I hope anyways in the camera lens there's mist around the lens but not in the centre it's not water just a wee bit of fog but yeah phones perfect just scared of water damage as I only got it yesterday and I don't want it to break on my birthday

Re: samsung galaxy s5 water sensor is black

Battery temperature is 35°c I do have phone on charge if that's normal

Re: samsung galaxy s5 water sensor is black

I'll do it for a few house I have rice beside me to haha I'll update if phone ever does break or what ever

Re: samsung galaxy s5 water sensor is black

Remember, the S5 is water resistant, not waterproof. How resistant depends on water pressure. So laying it down gently and slowly in 3 feet of water does a lot less damage (as far as water getting past the seals) than dropping it into 6 inches of water.
