My samsung galaxy s6 SM-G920F did not get the 5.1.1 update, why?

Like i said, in my title my Samsung galaxy s6 did not recieve the 5.1.1 update, even tho it should.

how can that be, nor am i able to upgrade to it.

my device is fully unlocked

Hi Jacob same model same problem,I returned 2 faulty s6 and they were on 5,1.1 this third is perfect but on 5,0.2 and saying up to date its a strange one maybe rolling out in stages??

I contacted my carrier with the same question.

They told me its being rolled out in stages, and that I would eventually get it, they just couldn't say when.

I got it two weeks after asking about it.

My phone had the 5.1 update available and would fail to onstall took it to Samsung they went to manually update it and it said 5.0.2 is the latest update and my OTA says 5.0.2 is now my latest for some weird reason, I'm on tmobile

The S6 5.1.1 update hasn't been released by Verizon or AT&T yet. Nothing's wrong on your end, we just have to wait it out while our carriers get their act together.

Same on 3 UK and still on 5.0.2 contacted my network they said it's live but explained I've not recieved it they said theyll get back to me and haven't heard anything from them since

This is the exact reason why the iPhone is so appealing.... I don't care who's fault it is; we shouldn't have to wait this long for updates... Ridiculous...

Yes jason I sent two s6 back to 3 cause they were faulty they updated to 5.1.1 this third though is stuck on 5.0.2 an saying up to date
