Android Central Question

It all started when I accidentally permanently deleted some screenshots I actually wanted to keep from Google photos... I tried loads of apps and software and they asked me to root it for better results however when I tried it kept failing and then it forced me to reset it. Then I got the frp lock and tried flashing it and it failed again and then the smart switch emergency recovery thingy came up. Then I somehow ended up in recovery mode and tried to reset and the update option but I don't think it worked properly and it was stuck on a grey battery with a white lightning bolt on it and then I was playing about with side keys and stuff and now I ended up on the black screen with the white text "Samsung galaxy s7 edge powered by android". I also had someone look at it before the recovery mode thingy. I was wondering if anyone can help me?

I have watched some videos and followed along and I got the firmware from sammobile or something and there was another site I can't remember and tried two different versions of odin too
