My samsung j5 wont turn on after rom upload

[Android Central Question]

My J500 Samsung was stuck on the logo when turning on, so I replaced the battery as the old one was expanded in size. I then flashed my phone and is said "unable to wipe data" so I figured its the Firmware as it crashed. I then download a new firmware with Odin as well and uploaded it and it was successful but the phone has not turned on since yesterday. Its not even charging. Please help

If it doesn't charge or computer recognize by connecting it then you would need a repair shop .

Try holding volume down and power button for about 15 seconds. If that doesn't work then try volume up and power for 15 seconds. It forces a soft reset. Not sure if it will work on your phone but worth a try. On my OnePlus there is an EDL mode, emergency download mode, where it requires you to do that to get out of it. Hopefully it does something on your Samsung and you didn't brick it.
