My samsung keeps making a short ringing sound.

My Samsung keeps making a ringing tone when I am not receiving a call, or an email, or a whatsapp or something from facebook. it keeps doing it and it is really annoying as it does not mean that I have any emails or texts or anything so it is rather disappointing.

It could help if you specified the model of your device and, if possible, a video or audio of the ringtone you're getting.

If you set your phone to vibrate, does it also vibrate for no reason? Or worse, does the ringtone still come on?

Have you installed a notification manager app, like LightFlow or something like that?
