My Samsung Note 4 has been updating for 15 hours now, how can I get it to finish?

Since my phone did the update it has been "updating" my contacts!! Over 15 hrs now. Which is draining my battery!!! Anyone know how to rectify this?
I have re-booted,turnt off and on and did a battery pull

I don't know how but my note 4 is has been draining battery since I updated it to 5.0.1

Oh! My partner has the note 4 also and his update was fine,no issues.
I still can't access my contacts. It's still "updating" them.
