My samsung s10 plus battery is supposed to be 4100 mAh but when I downloaded AccuBattery and shown that the Design Capacity is only 4000 mAh and other apps showed that, regarding that my phone is only one week old

well,i did try accubattery and it shows 4000mah too...

I only ever charge to 80% so am unsure if this is why, but mine shows as 3870mAh and has done since new.

When you initially install AccuBattery it shows a capacity of 4000 mAh. Underneath it has a button "Set Design Capacity".

It is almost certain that the 4000 mAh is just an initial value and not read or determined by actual hardware.

you don't even have to download a 3rd party app to see , go to settings>about phone>battery

I did set design capacity to 4100mAh. Does that battery information screen actually measure the battery or is it just showing what it's supposed to be?

Doesn't measure just shows what's it supposed to be.
