i have a samsung galaxy s5&the other week it stopped charging except when it was turned off, sometimes it wouldnt even charge then, it would display an exclamation mark on the battery icon, I got a new battery the other day and the problems are still occurring, except now it keeps dying at percentages from 10%-60% and resetting to 0%, what else can I do? What can it be? It isn't the charger as I have tried a few

I'm wondering if the battery is loose. The exclamation Mark is usually a sign. Prize the contacts out a bit to make a tighter connection

1. Check the battery graph (the one you get when you tap the first one) after it dies and you restart it. A drop to zero, followed by the battery being nearly at the same level as it was before the phone died is a sign of a dendrite (see Lithium Battery Dendrite links for more info), and the battery is bad.

2. If the battery is loose, put a small piece of folded paper between the bottom of the battery and the case. That raises the battery with no possibility of snapping off a contact.
