My SD card is read only - how do I fix this?

I had tried using the USB connection on my phone with my laptop and I was moving a music file over, but afterwards for some reason, my micro sd card is no longer reading. it keeps saying to unmount it and every time I press that notification, it does jack squat.

i thought it may have been Double Twist since I had it installed on my phone, but nothing.

I can't use Google Earth without it and it's pissing me off.

Did you try a reset by pulling the battery? While the battery is out, pull the sd card and re-seat it.

Clean the brass contacts on the card and make sure it isn't locked. Might have to get a new SD card. I have had to have a new one for mine.
