My stylo 5 wont turn i can get to recovery mode...

[Android Central Question]

When I log at the log in recovery mode it says
E: failed to open driver control:no such file or directory (says it twice then now send package you want to apply to the device with ABD sideload<file name>"...
This was a boost mobile phone I bought 3 years ago. I took it to boost to unlock it and they said they no longer carry lg or have anything to do with it sorry. I have a new Qlink Sim card I'm tryen to put in it. Please help thank you kindy

You want unlock the device so 2 questions your asking?

Welcome to Android Central! It sure sounds like the phone is corrupted. Are you only able to boot into Recovery?
