My tab charger battery is going down instead of up.it still isn't charging properly

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet do you have? Have you tried other charging cables/plugs?

If the tablet is really old, chances are that the battery is just deteriorating. It might be time for a new tablet.

More information is needed , but can try safe mode if it's still doing the same .

It could be a bad charger, lead, charging port, battery, battery chip, or something else.
