My tablet flashing on and off?

[Android Central Question]

Hi there! I have a very very old, but usually trusty, Lenovo tablet that I haven't charged for at least 7 months. I have let it sit unused for long periods of time before and never had a problem recharging but this time it keeps turning on and off instead of staying on to charge. Did the battery finally die or is it just trying to get back to full charge?

Could be battery or hardware but would need a repair shop to look at and see if its worth it , personally i would buy something newer

If it will charge while powered off - some devices will - try powering off when it happens to light up.
