My TB reboots so much, even my ext. battery won't last all day

Anyone else having this problem with an extended battery? I have hardly any extra apps on my phone. I've had to hard reset it so many times I rarely put anything back on it.

Verizon replaced my first TB because of radio problems. I had to power it off and back on every time I left wi-fi to get it to connect to the mobile network. My original TB didn't have the reboot problem

Now Verizon has offered to replace my TB again. They also offered to allow me to switch to the Samsung Charge. I did go into the store and test out the Charge, but I wasn't happy I couldn't talk and use data at the same time. I don't use that feature often but I do use it. I loved the lighter weight of the Charge but otherwise it didn't seem that special.

I'm not a big techie, don't know anything about rooting, etc. Just wondering if anyone has ideas or suggestions on what I should do. When the phone is working, I'm happy with it.

After buying the 2750 mAh battery I thought it would solve the problem. I've seen many say their battery life lasts 2-3 days with it, but I still have to recharge before the end of the day.

Would appreciate thoughts if you have any to share!

root it. read the directions. then install the updated radio.

Install the leaked MR2 update. Works great! No need to root.

Install the leaked MR2 update. Works great! No need to root.

What data is removed? Phone contacts? Is there a way to backup up all of it so you don't lose it?

Everything, like a factory reset, except what's on your sdcard. Contacts should be backed up to google if you have it enabled. Check you contacts in your google email.

I did an update on my tbolt a few weeks ago. I thought it was mr2 but it turned out to be mr1. I was worried that I would start getting a ton of reboots but it didn't seem to happen at first. But now it has happened twice in the last few days. It's so weird how it didn't happen at all for a week or so after the update but now it's starting to happen. On a positive note, my battery life improved quite a bit with the update, especially when I'm on wifi. I can go to sleep at night and by next morning only lose maybe 1 or 2 percent.

I'ts been so long since I haven't had reboots I forgot how long my battery lasted before.
