I know a lot of you are having trouble and I'm sorry about that. But I've had my ThunderBolt about three weeks and it works just fine. No reboots. Good signal in 3G and 4G. Good battery life after I learned how to set it up.
I just didn't see many posts here that said anything good about this smartphone. I hope others are as lucky as me. And I hope you users having trouble will get things sorted out real soon.
Thanks for this forum,
Rob

There are plenty of us here that LOVE our Thunderbolts and have never had a problem (and are quite vocal about it)! Don't apologize.

Thanks to MR2 I'm back in love again.

Sent fom my Thunderbolt using Tapatalk for your reading pleasure.

Thanks for the positive vibe, Rob - seriously. I have had the classic problems - reboots, shutdowns, laggy GPS fixes and HORRIBLE SMS-send issues (like tonight, but I think that's all the network, not the phone), but I'll say it again ... they'll have to pry this phone from my cold dead fingers. I'd rather have my Thunderbolt than any other phone out there. Had it since release day and still thrilled with it.

PS .. Appreciate the use of real persons' names, too! ;-)

My problems have been fairly minimal and I've been very patient with Verizon and HTC in their efforts to resolve the problems because I like this phone & Verizon's 4G LTE network so much. For others, whose problems have been much more severe, I understand their frustration.

Just today my connectivity problems became significantly worse so I suggested to Verizon that they refund 50% of my data charges from the first date that I reported the problem and until they get it fixed. They agreed and refunded $30 to my account. Maybe more people should do this to help incentivize Big Red to fix these problems sooner rather than later.

Thanks, Robrecht

I've had some issues, and by scoping out the forums of other phones I was considering back then for fun, they do to. I'm really happy I went with The Thunderbolt. The thing can be frustrating at times (see all phones) depending on the issue, but it amazes me daily. I freaking love it.

There is no reason to be sorry, I love mine since day one. No MR2 here, just MR1 with no problems.

Here here. Maybe some of the allure ARE the problems, who knows. But mine is like a companion. I turn to it for many things I used to use my computer for. Prefer my bolt.

My Thunderbolt is awesome. Especially with the Extended battery! Now that i have a case for it, i couldn't be happier. All i want now is gingerbread :)

Couldn't agree more! I too have not had an issue with my thunderbolt. I found it to be a great replacement to my OG Droid. Loved the Droid, but felt its age and wanted something new.

I have been good so far, I had my first random re boot today but whatever it doesn't bother me one bit
