I am currently using the Gingerbread Keyboard for my TB, and I've noticed that it presses keys for me sometimes when my hand is hovering over a letter but not quite touching the screen. Don't get me wrong...its always the right letter so I'm not complaining, just a little creeped out that its pressing keys on its own when my finger is still like an 1/8" away from the screen.

I'm not talking about predictive text of course, I'm talking about individual letters when I'm typing. I have it set to vibrate when you press letters and, on occasion, it vibrates and selects the next letter when my finger hasn't quite touched the screen yet as if to say: "I got your back, I knew what you were gonna press that time"

Anyone else have this...phenomena...happen to them?

Happens to me occasionally with both the stock keyboard and SwiftKey.

I think it's just a really sensitve screen.

It's a capacitve touch screen, ie, it works off of the small electrical charge in your finger. You don't necessarily have to be touch the screen to make the electrical bond between your finger and the screen, and its obvious this happens like that sometimes. I get it every once and a while too.

Actually, if you concentrate really hard on the whole sentence, you'll find that you never really have to use the keyboard at all! :D

That's awesome. I'll work on that. They should make an Android commercial that spoofs the iphone ads and says "If you don't have an Android, then you have to type"

Typing.

So 2010.

What creeps me out is when I accendently hit a link when browsing and it doesn't load but when I hit what I meant it loads?!?!?!?
