Hi. Please forgive me if I sound very 'novice' here, but I'm pretty much stuck here. I'm in Asia and a relative of mine brought me an 'unlocked' Tmobile mytouch 3G he bought in the US for me. When I put my local SIM card in it, it keeps pushing to get login in google via the SIM. Even if I put a SIM that has the capability of accessing the internet, still it doesn't seem if finds its way to google. Now after reading quite a bit about this problem, it seems it needs a Tmobile SIM with a data plan on it. This would mean I need to send this phone back to the US... So if any of you can save me from this hard return process, I'd appreciate it. I contacted my relative and he's pretty pissed that the phone is not exactly 'unlocked' and he's got not much of helpful response from the seller company.
Appreciate your help. Thanks.
