From my experience trying a lot of different ones. The glass ones ruin the sensitivity and the clear wet install ones adds resistance and you can see the drawing marks on the screen protector when using the Spen. The best ones are matte ones like this. No glare no finger prints and smooth Spen writing.

I've used Skinomi in the past and liked them! :) Had a Skinomi on my Moto 360.

I agree. I always get matte for my Note tablets. Only makes sense I'd use them for my phones but it seems like they kinda degrade the brightness a bit.

Not much difference in the brightness. I looked at my wife's N8 next to mine and it looks the same. Not only that but it looks better cause there is no glare and these phones can get very bright.

Do these screen protectors add any resistance to the spen? Also if i want to add pressure darken something with the spen, will it makes dots or engravings in the protector? thanks

Sorry, i see you have already answered that lol. Does it really work though? I have been disappointed with most of the protectors i have ever tried. With my note 4 i switched to tempered glass because i never found a regular screen protector that worked without having engravings/pressure points.

Any non glass one will show marks if you apply strong pressure. You won't really need to with the N8 though the lite and hard press is very minimal. I wouldn't recommend glass ones yes they do offer better protection but I haven't found one yet that doesn't ruin the screen sensitivity.

Well i am finally going to try this lol. I went with the clear ones at first, only because i was afraid to reduce the clarity of this beautiful screen. I know you said the matte one would work better, I was just being hard headed i guess lol. I ordered the max complete screen coverage of the item though. I am using a spigen case, and the case friendly 1 cut out leaves the edges exposed. I then read a review for the case friendly 2 cut out, where the user stated that it was good, but could be even closer to the edges (he was using a spigen case as well). I will report back when i receive it in the mail lol!
