My Verizon app for HTC Thunderbolt

I have the My Verizon app installed and up to date and when I go to launch the app the phone says "Currently this application is not supported on your device" Does anyone know how to get this app to work or another app that will allow bill payment and data usage information from the phone.
 
I believe it says right in the description in the app store that this app is not yet available for the Thunderbolt.

Cant, have to wait for Verizon to update it. I cant believe they havent yet. It's BS, they are dragging their feet on it.
 
It's a known issue about the MyVerizon app not working. I have no idea when it will be "fixed".

Meanwhile, you can use the actual web page. However, I have trouble signing in to their elaborate flash/login/ad screen. So, I have found if I go to the discrete URL rather then the generic VZW URL I am presented with a straight forward login screen and I can logon without any issues.

I am only a Nanite...thanks for making me feel like one....thanks for the updates I could not find anything on the forum about it
 
I'm looking forward to this app working too. It is easier to check my balance and usage than using the full site.

And I can't use the #data service because my text and MMS are blocked.
 
Between the My Verizon app and the NFL app, it's kind of ridiculous that they don't have those working already. It's been weeks since launch and who knows how long they had the phone beforehand to get it taken care of.

Bitbop doesn't work? I did the two week trial and was able to watch a show. I haven't used it much though.
 
While I agree it is an annoyance that the NFL app and MyVerizon do not work I dont see how we can expect a fix overnight or in a month. Looking at past experiences from Verizon or HTC its crazy to think we can expect a fix in a week. A few apps do not make or break the phone and even though its Verizon's flagship device we cant expect a fix immediately. I am happy with my TB but I do understand within 6 months there will be the bionic, samsung, and droid x 2 which will all be 4g and some will be dual core. I am assuming by the time those devices come out the problems will be fixed. No reason to fix an app to work with one phone when they are undoubtedly working on a fix so all 4g phones being tested will work.

AFAIK it doesn't work properly yet. I want to try it! Looking forward to Skype too. But I'm patient.

It doesn't work on the xoom yet either, my guess is that it may have something to do with the new radios in them (though the xoom does not have LTE yet).
