my Verizon Galaxy S4's battery looks like it has a b***.... (like someone's pants are bulging)

Is it dangerous to use for a while? I'm on a trip right now and won't be home for another week or so.
Or must I immediately get it replaced by Verizon?

The Verizon tech support guy told me that is "should be okay" but I usually don't trust them that much. :D

Here's the strange thing... they insist that I take the battery to a Verizon corporate store... then the store
will order me a battery to be shipped to my home.... is this how they usually handle warranty issues?

I agree, I would *NOT* use that battery. If it were to burst, it could ruin the entire phone. That's definitely not normal.

I'm not sure what Verizon's policies are on stuff like this. I'd think they could assist over the phone, but I honestly don't know.
