My volume function on my Z2 stopped working. Kicks me out when I try to adjust in settings. Why does it do this?

it also happened to me before. searched for an answer online but did not get any. tried different approach on settings but volume wont work. i installed the app Audio Manager Pro and through that app i was able to manage the volume. try it.
