My WiFi keeps disconnecting instantly after I turn it on

[Android Central Question]

I jump in a pool with my phone in my pocket, completely submerging it for a couple of seconds. 2 days later, turns out it still works fine, except that the WiFi keeps disconnecting instantly after I turn it on. Is there any way to fix this? Or do i just need a new phone?

Which phone? Dont recommend going into a pool with your phone even with IP warer resistant it's only for accidental protection. Let the phone completely dry out and see in few days .

Is it water resistant?

It's about as resistant as any other phone, i think. It had no case, but was in my pocket. And now I noticed that all online connections don't work (WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G Internet).

Water damage tends to be ongoing, so although apparently okay immediately afterwards, it may progress.

Well turn it off for a day let it dry out see if it's ok , if not you'll need to repair or get another phone .
