my x weirded out new 1 on trhe way

i have had my x for 8 days and on day 4 the camera stopped working,then the camcorder stopped also...then camera worked again and has since stopped again...on day 5 my browser back button stopped working too,,,anyway i actually love the phone called verizon yesterday and they did a factory reset over the phone with me to no avail. they shipped out a new x to me yesterday that i should have tomorrow, also i asked about 2.2 update and was told it is being sent ota in stages , she was not sure if it was by area or by when you purchased..i do not want to give up on the x
