I have the Xoom 4g 32GB. Here's the situation: The battery is fully charged, I've tried the hold power & volume button but that doesn't work. I was just browsing the net, then the screen just went black. I had just pulled it off the charger so the battery was nearly full. It has never been dropped or damaged so i'm not sure what the problem is.

Any Ideas guys? I really do enjoy my Xoom, it felt like such a solid device so this is very disappointing :(

Just to make sure you are holding the power and volume UP button, right? Just want to make sure.

Yes I was holding the volume up & power. Still no results, I have the insurance so I'll take it in but I was hoping to avoid this.

Charge again till light turns green. Hold your power button for at least 10 seconds. If that does nothing do the power and volume up combo for at least 10 seconds also, maybe longer.

OK this did not work, it seems completely dead still. This whole thing seems odd. I've only had the device for 4 months, never dropped it and yet it just died. Not to mention the fact that I bought a skin and screen protector for it, which can't be reused so i'm sol if I have to send it in. Any more ideas to fix this would be appreciated.

Did the charging light turn green or even come on?

Do you know how to use adb? Did you ever have USB debugging enabled? You could see if your PC will recognize that your xoom is there and push some stock images.

It seems you might have to send it back.

Make sure you push the SD CARD down (Top of the Xoom, where the LTE SIM CARD is).
and it will boot properly.
