Mysterious application appeared on my HTC One

Hi guys!

A mysterious application appeared in my HTC One. Its name is "Speak" v. 2.1 which I didn't install, is not in the Android Play Store and can not be un-installed. Called AT&T for support but they don't know anything about it. At this point I think is malware.
Please let me know if any of you do know anything about Speak. Thanks.

after seeing your post I looked up if I had this and I do l it's has no data it just says 0 bites I am not sure what it is.

It's a htc system app.

Looks like "HTC speak" . An apk. file for facebook. since I don't use facebook on Android don't really know what it does but here is a link in the XDA forum for it. HTC Speak- Htc's response to Siri and S-voice? | HTC One X > XDA

I think it's part of the Car application. Didn't know about it either until I put mine into a car cradle with the usb plugged in for power and in a Landscape orientation. Then the HTC Car application comes on.. which also is not in the application list but is found in app manager. Speak is included as one option (along with Dialer, Music, a navigation program and you can customize others). I believe it lets you use speech for commands while driving the car.
