Mystery gps

Anyway to find out what is accessing my gps? I keep seeing the symbol in my notification bar and it stays on for a couple minutes and I have no idea what program could be using it.

Nothing that shows up in the running services list.

Tried that but nothing that normally runs is effected. Sucks cause my battery was doing real well now all of a sudden I can't even get half a day out of it.

Found out is the servcie called com.motorola.friendfeed

It used almost five minutes of the gps.

What would be using that service?

you might try to use advanced task killer just to see what all is running when this happens.

i just checked motorola forums and it seems that this may be a bug.

Yeah it has to be a bug bc I checked my battery status again and it shows com.motorola.newsstatus was using almost ten minutes of gps.

I just had the GPS icon stuck on today. Reboot of the phone stopped it after toggeling power switcher and going into the location settings wouldn't remove it.

I know mine is not stuck bc it dissapears then comes back.reboots never helped and the battery status is saying a few services have been using it awhile. Weird thing is I never had it before so I wonder why all of a sudden is there a change?
