Mytouch 3g 2.2

Looks like our old friend of 09 is getting a taste of froyo. This suprised me more than anything, it even showed up in the 100% you magazine on page two. This will be a great update for the mytouch even if it only has a 528mghz proccessor(for those of you who don't know what that is it's system is slower than a iPod touch) besides that fact they do actually work hard to make the phone unique. I'm going to get the slide the 19th in a tmobile store and I will wake up at 7:00 to get there as early as possible. I'm going to see how 2.2 will fit on the slide as well as the mytouch

sweet, I hope the transition to 2.2 will be much quicker for all the manufacturers to do than 1.5/16 to 2.1 was.

The transition from 1.5/1.6 to 2.1 is nowhere near over, half the devices on the market are still running those versions. Some, if not most of those phones will not get updated to 2.1, just like some 2.1 phones will probably never see 2.2.

I've been always finding a 2.2 rom for my g2, but still not found.

If your talking about the g2 as in the mytouch 3g then it isnt out... Yet. Chiefzreloaded is working hard to put a 2.2(froyo) rom the mytouch 3g. You can follow him on twitter.

I have been searching around and i found a test one that the language is in french but i don't know if you can change that but just to warn you this is a test here are a list of things on the site that I've translated that work.(it helps since i speak french
* telephone
* 3G
* LED notification
*bar notification system is now repaired
Things that don't work.
* WIFI
* Camera / Camera
* GPS
* Default wallpaper (You can change wallpaper)
* The speaker
* The browser crashes after installing Adobe Flash Player 10.1 beta

Just as soon as I switch to the Slide to get 2.1 and Sense they go and talk about updating my OLD PHONE! Oh well, I will get Froyo soon hopefully!
