N4 Charger output rating question

Newbie question perhaps, but better to ask now than be sorry after I fry my phone:
So the stock charger that my phone comes with is rated at 5.0v and 1.2a. It takes, as some of you may have noticed, forever to charge. So is it ok to use a charger rated at 5v 2.0a? or any other amperage rating higher than 1.2a? I've found a few online ranging from 1.5a-2.1a and am really interested in speeding up the charge time ... of course, without frying he phone in the process. My old blackberry chargers that are sitting around the house and formerly used to charge my N1 obviously take even longer to get the devices fully charged; those need to go. Suggestions on suitable replacements?

Oh and on an unrelated note - is the SIM card on here Nano or Micro? Wanted to pick up an adapter for it in case something goes wrong and I need to use my old N1 as a backup phone.

Thanks!

I use an Andru charger which charges in about 2 hours from 0-100%.
Uses a micro-SIM.

Thanks! That's a really cool little charger.
I looked it up and it seems like it's rated at 5v, 1a which would also take longer to charge than the standard charger that the phone comes with.
Thanks for the suggestion though. Appreciated!

Seems so but I find it charges much faster - 2hrs is pretty fast for 0-100%, no? Faster than my others by far.
