N7 LTE + T-Mobile $30 Unlimited Data Pay-as-you-go

On T-Mobile with the $30/month unlimited data plan.

Can I pop that SIM into the N7 LTE and use that data interchangeably with my phone? Thanks for the insight and advice.

I was under the impression you could (and was planning on doing the same myself), but after someone mentioned it here I searched around and apparently it doesn't work on the existing Nexus 7. They know from the IMEI that it's a tablet and block it. Not 100% sure the same will be true with the new Nexus 7, but it's a bit of a bummer.

It looks like T-mobile's monthly passes aren't too bad. I'll probably give them a shot anyway; 5G of data a month is overkill for me.

Unlimited data with very poor coverage in many area's isn't a bargain for me. I'd rather pay Verizon the $30 for 2 GB of data as much as it pains me. I still pay full price on my phones to stay on unlimited but don't have that option on a tablet. Then again if you don't travel much and have good T-Mbile LTE in your area I guess your good to go but that isn't many people.
