N8 Widescreen

Does the N8 support widescreen pictures? I see it being compared with the LG V30 and that does Widescreen pics. If Samsung doesn't support widescreen pics, you would of thought they would of included that......

Yes, it does support widescreen, but they resolution is actually lower than a standard 4:3 photo. See screenshot of resolution menu.

The Note8 camera sensor has a 4:3 ratio. So the only way to get a different ratio is to crop, resulting in lower total resolution.

Depends on what you want in photography. I just returned from two week in Europe and I used the telephoto lens lot. During the same time I only move for wider angle shot to or three times. I prefer the Note 8 camera design.

Do you mean does it take wide screen photos? And what is a wide screen photo?

Just seems weird that it wouldnt be a good for Widescreen pictures, as the V30
