Nandroid backup timestamps are off

I just did a Nandroid backup prior to installing a new Kernel. Date and time of backup should be 1/20/2011 6:30ishPM. However, when I open the nandroid folder and view my backups, the latest one has this time stamp: BCDRS-20110121-0016. I take this to be a time stamp of 1/21/2011 12:16AM. Why is it so off?

Probably for the same reason my phone keeps saying I'm in Africa and changing my time.
