Native Email Setup

Greetings all,

Has anyone else had issues setting up Gmail on the native Mate 9 email app? It comes back everytime time with unable to connect to server.

I'm sure the username and password is correct since I'm able to use bluemail and the Gmail app. Thanks for the help!

Native email and Gmail are separate apps. Yes, never been able to use native email, same as what you see.

Also, Huawei support doesn't show United States international AL dialing code, reqd to set that up.

I was using Gmail which works but now use Google Inbox.

Gmail works fine for me on the mail app that came with the Mate 9.

Same here. I use the email app on the Mate for my Gmail and other accounts instead of the Gmail app.

Previously only available on IOS, Material Design-themed Email by EasilyDo now available on Android, simply called "Email. " Supposedly the fastest email app in the market and the best one for Unsubscribing. I just installed it, I was able to add my work email, yahoo and Gmail without a problem.
