Native first class IDE and compiler for android

The Asus Transformer got me thinking. With keywords and larger screens, why not start making first class development environments for android? It has a lot of advantages, such as simplicity and low resource consumption that make it an interesting general purpose computing platform.

The only thing missing for making it a good all around PC is a native development environment.
