Nav studder

I have noticed while using the Nav it will go with me for about one second then it will freeze for about 3. Is this common? I did not have this on my x it was smooth graphics the whole time. I am rooted but it was like this before I was hoping rooting and overclocking would get rid of it but I tried rooted stock, overclocked, and now on bamf 1.5 and still the same. Any tricks to help?

Are you using google maps or google nav? I found out that when I opened google nav thru a third party app (Car dock home v3) that it would only update my location every .2 miles. I then opened google nav normally without using a third party app and it worked smoothly like it should.

That did it . Kind of annoying though.
