It will not give me turn by turn with the street names and it says to DL " Speechsynthesis Data Installer"???? what to do? I do not think it worked after the DL

You will need to re-download the text to voice package from the market. This should get you fixed up.

It would be nice to have a women with a British accent or maybe a New York cab driver accent.

I have to laugh when I go jogging I use SPORTYPAL and the female voice says "Workout started, today is your day" (Robotic voice)....wow, makes me motivated!
