Navigation App uninstaled Itself

Hey pls can anyone help me out I m Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 user Model no GT P3100
My problem is the inbuilt Navigation app(the one with the blue arrow) has uninstalled itself I dnt knw how I tried to find it out in the installed apps section but it was no were to be found .I tried to search it on the google play i coudnt find it on play store also. Guys m a frequent user of the navigation app as i travel too much so pls can anyone help me out regarding the same matter I would appreciate it Thanks

It was always just a shortcut to the navigation function of Google Maps. You can use Google Maps to search for the address and then just select navigate for the correct result.

If you would like to have the separate navigational icon back, go to settings>apps> all apps> maps> uninstall updates

Clicking the Y shaped icon is the navigation feature. Click on that and it assunes your current location and you input your desired destination.
