navigation bar buttons

Any way to make them disappear when not in use on a web browser or other apps. Thanks.

On my T-Mobile g8 (Android 9, and may be the same across devices anyway)---Settings>Display>Home touch buttons>scroll to bottom of page>Hide Home touch buttons (Select which apps will have hidden Home touch buttons)---on this page there is a menu of apps to turn on Hide Home touch buttons. I have my set to hide on Waze and Edge browser.

I don't see this option on mine, but i am on Android 10. Maybe they took it away? I did a search for hide and home in settings and nothing came up there either.
