Navigation bar won't stay hidden...

...when onscreen keyboard is on. I have it set on on auto-hide but when the keyboard is onscreen it stays onscreen too and I can't get rid of it. This takes up a lot of room and makes it difficult to see what I'm typing, and on some keyboards it blends in with the space bar so I accidentally hit it instead of the space bar.

Had this problem on my Note9. Had to use a 3rd party keyboard, the Sammy one leaves a spot for the Nav bar.
