NBC 10 News application

I inadvertently set the alerts to notify me by sound of any news items. I do not want to hear the messages. How do I turn off the audible alerts in that program. I contacted nbc10 and I got a response that the person that handles it, is going to be away until the end of the month. I need help now. Thanks

Usually, you can open the app, tap Menu, then Settings, and adjust the notification options there. If you can't find them, then a workaround is to go to the App Manager, select the app, and uncheck "Show Notifications."
