Ok so my extended battery showed up yesterday and I of course dumped that puppy in. I have seen lots of ideas floating around as to how to best get a case to fit. I looked at all the videos and folks seemed to like the current double incipio case, but it just didn't fit right.
Now my solution is not perfect and I appologize in advance for not taking a lot of time to clean up the video I am about to present. My video camera (non-phone mind ya) is kinda old so doesn't focus too well. I decided to pull out my old reliable Ryobi Sander and go at the plastic inside cover of the Incipio Case (right about where the wording pokes through.
In the end I can live with this case until a perfect one comes out. But I haven't had any drawbacks to doing it this way that I have found. I can access all plug ports and buttons easily. Best of all I didn't have to leave my back off of the phone or put additional pressure on the innards of the device. Its hard to see the small seam on one side because its a black on black case (I tried for another but they only had Black/Black and Pink/Black). I do a lot for my peeps.. but not sure I can pull off a pink phone at the family get togethers.
If nothing else, maybe it will give you an idea as to something else you can try. And as a side note: Right after I put on the shell to show you all I dropped my phone. It bounced and lived to tell about it. Good timing I suppose.
