I have it too, just haven't gotten the chance to do it yet. 8.0 I was supposed to be this month, but not holding my breath.

Also I didn't know this because I use Action Launcher, but I just noticed I can customize the Google bar on the default launcher. Could we always do this? Or is this new?

I believe so, I removed mine from the main page when it Android updated last time. Originally no, during the move to 7.1.1 yes.

November security patch plus introduction of AppFlash. Not Oreo. Hoping 8.0 will come with "next" security patch.

Anyone having 5ghz connection issues after this update? I can no longer connect to 5ghz wifi networks (I used to be able to before the update). I've tried all the normal tests (reset phone, reset router, connect other devices to same network) and all the easy fixes (reset wifi on phone, disconnect/reconnect to network, etc). I've read other people are having issues too, and have tried factory resetting their phones, but that hasn't fixed it...I'd rather not go that route if I don't have to. Anyone else?

I can connect to 5ghz but I do disconnect and reconnect periodically. But I've attributed it to my network...i.e. I'm at my son-in-law's and connect to his 5ghz with no disconnect issues

I didn't have a connection issue with WiFi in New update. It did break my Google play services though. Constant force closes again and again every 5-10 seconds. Had trouble signing in to other apps that use it. I ended up sideloading another version. And yes, I cleared cache and data before I tried it with no luck. Works fine now.
