Anyways, I fired up my VZW Z2 Play (backup phone), today and received an update, but it's only NDSS26.118.23.19-1, not -3.
go figure...


ETA, Turned on the VZW Z2 Play, today, 28 March 2018 and received security update NDSS26.118.23.19-3. I reckon that I had to give it a chance to get -1, prior to being able to recieve -3.
Using it rarely, I assume, leads to such update lag.
