Need a better music lock screen option?

I use Google Play Music almost exclusively for music on my phone. I'm tired of the full screen, zoomed in album art lock screen. The main problem is white or bright backgrounds make it impossible to read the the white font on the screen. So to see what song / artist / album is playing you have to unlock the phone, defeating the purpose of the info being on the lock screen. I've tried a few lock screens, but they either do not change the default music lock screen, and / or they have some other bug that is a deal breaker. I'm curious if anyone uses a better option? Thanks.

Try C Locker from the Play Store, it has a record of been the fastest purchase I've made after using the free version. But if you just want to be able to use the Google play Music Widget from the lock screen I think that can be done only with the Pro version, but try the free one first to see if you like it.

I just started using this, but I think this is going to fit my needs nicely. Thank you!
