I need a link/copy of the non-rooted 2.2.6 any help is appreciated. I need this for my wife she wont root lol

There is no rooted version. It is based on what you are in 2.1.

If she is rooted in 2.1, she will be rooted in 2.2.
Or
If she is stock in 2.1, she will be stock in 2.2.

I saw on other forums links for a rooted version and non rooted. Of course the links have been removed because of the c &d. Are you positive that there is only one version. I did originally see one version from p3 but I am just being sure

Remember, you actually have to go out of your way to maintain root in the transition from 2.1 to 2.2. If you just run the update.zip without anything extra then you wont have root afterword. Just a thought tho... I flashed 2.2 right off the bat but switched back to 2.1. Of course its your choice but 2.1 is more stable and smooth, regardless of what any quadrant score says (tho I'm sure this is just because we don't have the final 2.2).
