I've searched Google, this website, other websites, and the market place for note taking programs that are stylus compatible and have been disappointed.

I need a simple, basic, note taking program that I can use with a stylus. Some basic functionality like e-mailing the notes, saving the notes, etc is required.

I've tried these and have been unimpressed:
TabNotes - crappy GUI
NotePlus - crappy GUI
Evernote - no stylus support
JetNote - no stylus support
Notepad - no stylus support
MakeNotes - works but not efficient

MakeNotes is my fallback if I can't find anything else.

Does anybody have any recommendations?

Im using autodesk sketchbook mobile pro. Was just $1 and works great with my stylus. Wouldnt say its the best, but it sure does work. Sadly its one page at a time and saves them in jpg format so its more of a drawing app then a note taking app.

This type of touchscreen is terrible for taking notes with a stylus input. How do you take notes without the rest of your hand touching the screen and getting in the way? Are the program specifically designed to detect this?

I don't rest my hand on the screen and it works great.

Problem is I can't find a program that takes notes with a stylus that is decent.

Yea, writing in the various scribble programs that just save your scribbles work fine for me, but would love to find something like EverNote, or SpringPad that had that built in.

What do you consider a good program? Just curious because I'm interested in developing apps and this might be something to try and write.

What features do the existing programs lack and what are the main features you want to see?

Evernote is a good program overall (feature-wise) but lacks stylus support
Handrite is a good writing program with keyboard and stylus support but lacks the advanced features of Evernote
