I have an old car, no bluetooth or USB. I do have a way of connecting iPods, that's how old it is. I plug a phone into the iPod connector by way of the headphone jack.
Listening to podcasts on the phone speaker, I can't get volume high enough even with phone volume at 100%. With road noise, I can't hear it. So I desire to plug it into the car speakers. But the volume is so low and I have to turn the car volume up so high that I get as much digital noise as podcast audio.
I have tried a variety of volume boosters. Some of them work about a quarter to half the time, some don't work at all. Please recommend an app that works, preferably without the warning that I'm turning headphone volume up too high. It's connected to the car, not to headphones. And no ads. Even if it doesn't work to boost volume, the ads always seem to work.
