Need a widget to turn on Airplane Mode.

My phone has recently been updated to android 8

I used to have a widget that turned on and off just by pressing the widget

No longer works. I guess it's a security feature?

So... I have found another widget that will take me to the menu screen in settings where I can turn on or off.

The problem is that it doesn't always work . It's a bit hit and miss.

I looked at and searched for others. Either they don't work or just poor usability.

Any recommendations?

Pull down and airplane mode is in there, or take your pick from here.

In 9 (or maybe earlier), you can pull down from the top (quick setting toggles), then pull again to get the expanded grid, then hit the little pencil at the bottom to re-arrange the toggles. Hold airplane mode and drag it into the top 6 so it will show up in the list of "quick toggles".
